International CME on “Managing Lupus Nephritis and Adverse Drug Reactions”

An International CME on “Managing Lupus Nephritis and Adverse Drug Reactions” was held on 8^th May 2017, Monday at 08:00 AM at New Conference Hall, Chittagong Medical College. The seminar was organized by Chittagong Medical College Teachers’ Association. UniMed Pharma was the scientific partner of this seminar.

300 doctors (from all discipline) were present in the seminar. The chairperson of the seminar was Professor Dr. Selim Md Jahangir, Principal, Chittagong Medical College and chief guest was Mr. AJM Nasiruddin, Honorable Mayor, Chittagong City Corporation. Professor AFM Saiful Islam, Professor of Pharmacology, Former ADG at DGHS, former Director at Center for Medical Education was present as special guest.

The keynote speakers were Professor Dr. K L Gupt, Professor and Head of Nephrology, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, India who delivered his speech on Managing Lupus Nephritis in 2017 and Professor Md. Sayedur Rahman Khasru, Professor of Pharmacology, BSMMU, Member Secretary, Faculty of Basic Science, BCPS who delivered his speech on Adverse Drug Reactions.

The whole program was coordinated and supervised by Mr. Md. Akramul Kabir, Group Product Manager, UniMed Pharma. Vote of thanks was given by Dr. Pranay Kumar Dutta, Secretary CMCTA.
