The scientific seminar on “Stroke Masterclass”

A scientific seminar on “Stroke Masterclass” was held on 16 July, 2019, Tuesday at Dr. B N Paul Memorial Hall of Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital. The seminar was jointly organized by Neurology department of Cox’s Bazar Medical College & Care for Stroke & Research Foundation and scientific partner was UniMed UniHealth Pharmaceuticals Limited.

The program was chaired by Dr. Mohammad Mohiuddin, Superintendent & Associate Professor, 250 Bed District Sadar Hospital, Cox’s Bazar. Chief Guest of the mentioned program was Prof. Dr. Subash Chandra Saha, Principle, Cox’s Bazar Medical College and Special Guests were Dr. Md. Mohammed Abdul Matin, Civil Surgeon, Cox’s Bazar, Dr. Rafique-us-saleheen, Assistant Director, Sadar Hospital, Cox’s Bazar, Dr. Mahbubur Rahman, Secretary, BMA. The rapporteur of the mentioned seminar was Dr. Khairul Kabir Patwary, Associate Professor, Dept. of Neuro-Intervention, National Institute of Neurosciences & Hospital (NINS), Dhaka. The keynote speakers were Dr. Shirajee Shafiqul Islam, Associate Professor, Dept. of Neuro-Intervention, National Institute of Neurosciences & Hospital (NINS), Dr. Dewan Md Eliyas, Associate Professor, Dept. of Neuro-Intervention, National Institute of Neurosciences & Hospital (NINS) & Dr. Tariqul Alam, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Neuro-Radiology, Associate Professor, National Institute of Neurosciences & Hospital (NINS).

140 doctors including interns students from Cox’s Bazar Medical College & Hospital were present at this program. There was a interactive question and answer session after each presentation.

There was a session on Cogniz given by UniMed personnel. Closing speech was given by Dr. Mohammad Mohiuddin, Superintendent & Associate Professor, 250 Bed District Sadar Hospital, Cox’s Bazar.
