A scientific seminar on “Critical illness myopathy is frequent: accompanying neuropathy protracts ICU discharge.” was held on 30 Jan., 2018, Tuesday at the conference room of National Institute of Neuro-Sciences & Hospital (NINS). The seminar was jointly organized by Weekly Journal Club of NINS & UniMed Pharma.

The program was chaired by Prof. Dr. Quazi Deen Mohammad, Director , NINS and co-chaired by Prof. Dr. Badrul Alam Mandal, Joint Director, NINS. The repporteur of the mentioned program was Dr. Mahmudul Islam, Asst. Professor, NINS. Topic presentation & answer for audience questions regarding the topic was given by Dr. Sifat Azam, Medical Officer, Department of Critical Care, NINS. Panel discussion was done by Dr. Azharul Haque, Professor, Dept. of Neurology, NINS, & Dr. Maliha Hakim, Professor, Dept. of Neurology, NINS. 160 doctors from Neuro-Medicine, Neuro-surgery and Physical Medicine were present at this program.

Product presentation (Parkifen) was given by Mr. Md. Hosniwat Khadem, Sr. Product Manager, UniMed Pharma. Closing speech was given by Prof. Dr. Quazi Deen Mohammad, Director, NINS.
