A Scientific Seminar on “Sylhet Symposium-Sexual Medicine Update” by SASSM was held on 17th May 2017, Wednesday at 10:00 AM at Lecture Gallery, Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College, Sylhet. This scientific Seminar was jointly organized by SASSM & Teachers’ Association of Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College and sponsored by UniMed UniHealth.

The Chairperson of the seminar was Prof. Murshed Ahmed Chowdhury, Principal & Head, Gynae & Obs, Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College. Prof. AKM Anwarul Islam, President, SASSM & former Chairman, Dept. of Urology, BSMMU as a Chief Guest. Brig Gen Dr. AK Mahbubul Hoque, Director, Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College; Prof. NK Sinha, Vice Principal, Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College; Prof. Rukon Uddin Ahmed, President, BMA, Sylhet; Prof. Jamil Ahmed, President, Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Teachers’ Association were grace the event as Special Guest. Dr. Dilip Kumar Bhowmik, Associate Professor, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, SOMC, Sylhet; Dr. RKS Royale, Asst. Professor & Head, Dept. of Psychiatry, SOMC, Sylhet; Prof. Mamun Mohammad Ali Ahad, Head, Dept. of Dermatology, SOMC, Sylhet; Dr. M A Alim, Asst. Professor, Head, Dept. of Urology, SOMC, Sylhet and Dr. Md. Shah Emran, Asst. Professor, Head, Dept. of Endocrinology, SOMC, Sylhet respectively were present there as a Panel of Expert.

Prof. Rawshan Ara Begum, Head, Dept. of Obs & Gynae, Holy Family Medical College Hospital and Former President, OGSB; Prof. Rashed Mohammad Khan, Head, Dept. of Dermatology, DMCH; Prof. M Jahangir Kabir, Chief Consultant Urologist, Labaid Hospital & Academic Director, UTFB; Prof. AKM Anwarul Islam, President, SASSM & former Chairman, Dept. of Urology, BSMMU; Dr. Mohammod Feroz Amin, Associate Professor, Dept. of Endocrinology, BIRDEM and Dr. Mohammad Shamsul Ahsan Maksud, Treasurer, SASSM respectively were the keynote speakers. They described the topic very nicely about the Sexual Medicine Update.
