A scientific seminar on “Management of Dyslipidemia & Prevention of Atherosclerosis” 11^th April, Wednesday, Seminar Room, Dept. of Cardiology, Mugda Medical College Hospital. The seminar was jointly organized by Dept. of Cardiology, Mugda Medical College Hospital & UniMed Pharma.

15 doctors were present in the seminar. Welcome speech was given by Dr. Asadul Millat Head, Dept. of Cardiology, Mugda Medical College. Keynote speaker was Dr. Ujjal Chandra Dhar, Medical Officer, Dept. of Cardiology, Mugda Medical College. Panel experts were Dr. Salahuddin Ulubbi, Associate Professor, Dept. of Cardiology, Mugda Medical College, Dr. Khandker Md. Nurus Sabah, Associate Professor, Dept. of Cardiology, Mugda Medical College, Dr. Anisur Rahman Khan, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Cardiology, Mugda Medical College. Rapporteur was Dr. Atiqul Islam, Junior Consultant, Dept. of Cardiology, Mugda Medical College.

Product presentation was given by Mr. Md. Akramul Kabir, Group Product Manager, UniMed Pharma. He spoke on ‘Cardicor and its cardio-selective properties that do not cause hyperlipidemia while other non-selective beta blockers do. Moreover he highlighted the features and benefits of Stacor, Corestin and Maxomega for managing dyslipidemia in different aspects.’
