Celebration of World Asthma Day 2017
World Asthma Day has been celebrated country wide on 02 May, 2017 with the slogan carrying Nirmol Batash, Proshantir shash (Better Air, Better Breathe). Every year, the first Tuesday is distinguished as World Asthma Day. A concerning rally followed by a Scientific seminar held in Dhaka Shishu Hospital (DSH), Agargaon. A Pediatric Asthma center has also been inaugurated in the hospital in this occasion. The whole program was jointly arranged by Bangladesh Pediatric Pulmonology Forum (BPPF) & Dhaka Shishu Hospital and organized by UniHealth Respiratory-ENT.
In the Scientific Seminar, the chief guest was Professor Monjur Hossain, Honorable Director of DSH and special guests were Professor MAK Azad Chowdhury, Academic Director, BICH & Secretary General of BPA; Professor Md. Ruhul Amin, Chief Advisor, BPPF and Ex. Professor of Pediatric Pulmonology, DSH; Professor Md Ali Hussain, Secretary General, Bangladesh Lung Foundation. Professor Md. Abid HossainMollah was the Chairperson of the Seminar.
Product Presentation was given by Md. Nazmul Hassan, Marketing Manager, UniHealth Respiratory-ENT. He highlighted the features of Provair in Childhood Asthma & Allergic Rhinitis. At last the vote of thanks was given by Mia Md. Eskander, General Manager, UniHealth Respiratory-ENT.
